Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using KatLog ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KatLog provides a platform for vendors to create WhatsApp product catalogs and receive orders from customers. KatLog is a catalog and order-routing tool — it does not process payments between buyers and vendors, and is not a party to any transaction between them.

3. Vendor Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a vendor account.
• You may not create multiple accounts for the same business.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use KatLog to:

• Sell illegal goods or services
• Engage in fraud or misrepresent your products
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
• Use the service for spam or unsolicited communications

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (product images, descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant KatLog a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

6. Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed via Paystack. All payments are non-refundable unless required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. You may also delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon termination, your storefront will become inaccessible.

8. Disclaimers

KatLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or that the service will be free from errors. We are not responsible for disputes between vendors and their customers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KatLog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use of KatLog after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
